CHAMP DESIGNS, LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE FOR PET WORLD

NEWTON, MA (June 24, 2014) Champ Internet Solutions (www.champinternet.com), a full-service marketing agency specializing in web design and development, digital marketing and brand strategy, has announced the launch of the new, second-generation website designed and produced for Pet World of Natick, MA.

The new www.petworldnatick.com website features in-depth product information, clickable photo galleries, and a live-action Kitty City Cat Cam. Behind the scenes, the website gives the Pet World team the ability to easily add events and promotions on the fly.

According to Pet World’s owner, Doug Alton, the new website has made a real difference in the way Pet World is seen online. “We are extremely satisfied with the work Champ has done in strategizing, designing and producing the newest version of our website. Previously, our customer outreach was limited to the Natick area, but this new site gives us a stronger presence throughout New England. With branded product information, a photo gallery, and the ability for our customers to reach out to us more easily, visitors are spending more time on our site.”

“But most importantly,” Alton continued, “the website showcases all the unique benefits of shopping with us. We have the industry knowledge, all the newest products, and in-depth pet expertise that our customers have come to expect over the years. Champ really gets what internet exposure can do for a local retail business like Pet World. They worked hard to understand the needs of a small independent store, and the unique benefits we bring to our customers.”

According to Seth Worby, CEO and founder of Champ Internet Solutions, “The unique challenge with Pet World was developing a website that created clear calls to action to bring customers through the door, since Pet World does not sell their products online. Since launching the site, visitors are spending 37 percent more time on the site and on average viewing 10 percent more pages with each visit. Customers are visiting Pet World with clear purchasing intent.î”

A new feature on the website is the live Kitty City Cat Cam, which allows visitors to view adoptable cats – and their antics – in the shelter during the hours of 11 am to 9 pm. Pet World proudly donates the space for the cat shelter to Stray Pets in Need of Massachusetts (SPIN).

“Over 8,000 cats have been adopted through the shelter,” said Alton. “We sincerely enjoy giving back to the community in this way. Our vendors are also excited and involved with Kitty City Cat Cam through sponsorships.”

In addition to completing the new website’s design and development, Champ continues to write, design, and distribute the Pet World monthly newsletter. The subscriber base has increased to several thousand over the past year alone.
