Champ delivered a completely new e-commerce website for Grand Jewelers with thousands of products. We integrated multiple vendor systems and a diamond finder. We also helped Grand reach their audience better through email marketing, social media, and content on their website.
Grand Jewelers is an award-winning, family-run jewelry business founded in 1982, with two store locations, one on the island of St. Thomas and one on St. Maarten. Grand Jewelers sells a wide variety of fine jewelry, including engagement rings, wedding bands, watches, and more. In addition, they offer Designer Collections from Charles Garnier, Hearts on Fire, Bridal Bells, and others. Their emphasis on superior customer service sets them apart from their competition.
Grand Jewelers approached Champ soon after we established a presence on St. Thomas. They wanted to rebrand their website to better convey the high quality of their product selection. They also wanted to expand their ability to sell to customers who were off island by adding e-commerce functionality to their site. In addition, they had a list of customers who had subscribed to receive information from them and wanted to better communicate with and market to that audience. They were looking for a full-service provider who could help them with a comprehensive marketing plan to expand their reach.
Champ designed and developed a new responsive, e-commerce website for Grand Jewelers. The e-commerce platform includes carefully detailed custom filters for a user-friendly experience and ease of product management. Products can be easily added individually or in bulk and the platform is designed to scale with the expansion of inventory. Champ created a monthly e-newsletter to communicate regularly and foster interaction with Grand Jewelers extensive customer list. To keep the website content fresh and encourage repeat visitors, Champ also started and manages a monthly blog on the site. Champ optimized Grand Jewelers’ social media presence, streamlining their brand across multiple platforms and helped develop a strategy so that Grand Jewelers can easily manage their own social media platforms on an ongoing basis in-house.
Grand Jewelers marketing reach has enjoyed incredible success since the launch of their new website with Champ. Their website visits increased 63.7% in a one-year period while their page views increased 87.5%. With their new e-commerce platform, customers are able to view their entire selection of over 2,000 jewelry items with ease from anywhere. Grand Jewelers now enjoys a strong social media presence. As a result, their Facebook likes have increased by 76% and their Google+ page views have expanded by an astounding 4,000%, or over 67,000 views. Champ continues to consistently manage their blog, newsletter, and website updates as well as any other marketing needs that arise so that Grand Jewelers’ staff can focus on what they do best: selecting the finest quality jewelry and assisting customers in finding the perfect piece.
