The Room 2
($2.99 for the Apple iPhone 4, 4S, 5 & iPad 2)
Description:
Welcome to The Room Two, a physical puzzler, wrapped in a mystery game, inside a beautifully tactile 3D world. The much anticipated sequel to ‘The Room’, Apple’s Game of the Year 2012 and recipient of a BAFTA award, is here at last. Follow a trail of cryptic letters from an enigmatic scientist known only as “AS” into a compelling world of mystery and exploration.
Used for work or play?
This is a puzzle game used purely for entertainment, but takes a keen eye and an open mind to unlock all the clues.
How did you find it?
I first discovered this app from playing the original “The Room” game. That too won countless Apple app store awards for design and gameplay. When I learned about the sequel, I instantly jumped on it and was easily the best $2.99 I’ve ever spent.
Why you’re a raving fan?
At first The Room 2 was a great time waster when you had an hour or so to kill. Soon after, it easily became one of the most addictive games I’ve ever played; the graphics are incredible, every level is completely different and the ambience immerses you completely in the game. The soundtrack to the game adjusts to the mood of the game and how well you are doing. At times it becomes a bit creepy because all the levels are rather dark and moody. My suggestion is to play the game alone in the dark to add that extra level of excitement.
